. For the development on one of our concepts, Hollie and I decided to choose the concept I developed, called 'Unexpected' which was originally called 'Julie Storey' but was changed last second. The feedback that was given about this concept gave us good ideas about how we can explore the story and to improve it several ways .
What we've added are more characters, for example 2 ensemble casts of lawyers and police men. We also have cleared the storyline so that it isn't all over the place and lastly we have given each murder victim a story so that they each have either done something bad to the main character or someone else.
Concept
The concept of this show is that there Is a young woman around the age of 25 who is very psychotic and goes around killing men who she has written down on her ‘hit-list’. Her reason for killing each of the men on her list will be because the men have either done something bad to her (rape, abuse, forced her into something) or she has witnesses / known about them doing bad things to other girls / woman.
However, when she comes to one of her victims who is named Jamie, she finds it difficult to go through with the assassination of the man as she begins falling in love with him.
It will also be brought to the attention of the audience that Jamie did not in fact commit the crime that Julie had been accusing him of which causes conflict between the 2.
